Management

LUXCARA is owner-managed. Founders and sole shareholders of LUXCARA are the Managing Directors, Dr. Alexandra von Bernstorff and Kathrin Oechtering. They have been working closely together as a management team in the area of renewable energies since 2007.

Together, they have made investments totalling over EUR 2 billion since 2007. In the area of photovoltaics alone this equates to over 70 individual transactions and a plant output of over 450 megawatts.

Dr. Alexandra von Bernstorff

Alexandra has 10 years' experience in the area of renewable energy investment. After studying and completing her doctorate in economics, she held various managerial positions at investment companies outside Germany, most recently as CEO of Renewagy A/S, Denmark.

Kathrin Oechtering

Kathrin has seven years' experience in the area of renewable energy investment. After studying architecture, she specialised in the area of sustainable architecture. Her most recent post was Investment Director of the Danish company Renewagy A/S in London and Hamburg.
